Papers of Kirsopp Lake and Silva Lake

This collection includes a scrapbook entitled "Samaria Excavations, Spring, 1931" which describes an archaeological dig undertaken by Kirsopp Lake, Robert Blake, and Silva (New) Lake. It contains photographs and handwritten explanations of various aspects of the dig. Also included are manuscripts of two publications: "An Introduction to the New Testament," by Kirsopp Lake and Silva Lake, and "Family II and the Codex Alexandrinus; the text according to Mark," by Silva Lake.
